What this service is

Atlygis is a set of free informational tools: a salary calculator, a self-employment tax calculator, a side-by-side comparison of several salary options, and an overview of Lithuanian salary statistics. There is nothing to register for, there are no accounts, and anyone may use it.

Figures are indicative

Results are worked out using the Lithuanian tax rules in force for 2026 and are provided as they are, without any warranty as to accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent the law allows, the operator of this site is not liable for any loss or for decisions taken on the basis of these calculations.

What the calculator does not model

It assumes a full month under a single employment contract with a private employer. Not accounted for: partial months worked, sick pay and holiday pay, bonuses and premiums, benefits in kind, several jobs at once, self-employment, and copyright contracts. Self-employment under certificate has its own calculator.

Public-sector employers are exempt from the Guarantee Fund and Long-Term Benefit Fund contributions, so the cost of employment shown is slightly higher than theirs really is. Reliefs claimed on an annual tax return are not modelled either.

Where the two disagree, the official sources always take precedence over this site's results.

The tax rules are updated as legislation changes, and these terms may be revised at any time. The current version is always published on this page.
