Privacy policy
In short: nothing to sign up for, no cookies, and the amounts you type never leave your browser. Below is exactly what happens when you use the tools.
The amounts you enter
Every calculation runs in your own browser. The salary figure, the tax-free allowance you pick, and the pension or fixed-term switches are never transmitted and never stored — they exist only while the page is open.
That also means we cannot look at your results, reconstruct them, or connect them to you: we simply never have them.
Cookies and browser storage
The site sets no cookies. It also writes nothing to your browser's local storage, which is why you will never see a cookie consent banner here — there is nothing to consent to. The one exception is if you turn statistics off yourself, in which case a single flag is stored to remember your choice.
Your language is not a stored setting either: the Lithuanian and English versions are separate addresses, and you switch by moving between them.
Analytics and third parties
We collect anonymous visit statistics: which pages are opened, where visitors arrive from, what kind of device and browser language is used, which tool was used and how long a page stayed open. We only ever see this in aggregate — no profile is built about you, and none of it can be linked back to you.
We use Umami, an open-source analytics tool that works without cookies. Its servers are the only ones outside atlygis.lt that your browser connects to: it loads the script from cloud.umami.is and sends the anonymous note to gateway.umami.is. The data is stored in the European Union.
The site is hosted by Vercel, whose servers already receive every request to it, and we also use their built-in visit counter. It sets no cookies and is served from atlygis.lt itself, so it opens no connection to any further server. It records the same kind of thing — which page, where you arrived from, what device — and never which tool you used or what you typed.
Nothing you type into the calculator is collected. There are no advertising networks, social media buttons or chat widgets on the site, and fonts are served from the same address as the site itself.
Would you rather not be counted? Ad blockers block these statistics and we do not work around that. We also honour your browser's Do Not Track setting, and the button below turns collection off in this browser for good.
The requests the site makes
On the salary statistics page your browser downloads one extra data file — the table of municipal averages. It is a static file at the same address, identical for every visitor, and it carries no information about you.
The statistics themselves are collected in advance, when the site is built, from Sodra's open data. Your browsing has no effect on them.
Besides those, the only requests the site makes are the two Umami ones described above and the visit counter's own, which goes to atlygis.lt itself.
